About PADMASHRI EXPORT
Refined Wheat Flour is very high in starch. By weight, it contains 68% starch. Starch is important to give you energy. Maida or Refined Flour is made from the endosperm of the wheat grain. That is the innermost part, which contains most of the starch. That means that the bran, the hard outer layers, where most of the nutrients and the fibre lays, is removed. This is the difference to Whole Wheat Flour (Atta), where the bran is also milled. In order to get the typical white colour normal, the chemical Maida is getting bleached. In this process, there are chemical bleachers involved, which can harm you. For our natural maida, we don’t use any chemicals or pesticides. Instead to get the white colour we use atmospheric oxygen. Maida is used for many many things. For example Naan, Paratha, Momo, Pizza, Cake, Pastry, Samosa.
